10baggerbamm : there's a few things that you need to understand .
the first and foremost is this closed and ETF trades at a significant premium to the underlying assets..
the reason why it trades at a premium is this is the only way that Joe public the average person can have any equity ownership in these pre IPO companies and that assumes and that's a word that gets used often about assuming and you know what happens it makes an ass out of you and me
it's assuming that these companies ultimately go public at some point in time.
as of right now there are exchanges set up for every one of these companies that are a holding to trade in the secondary Market it is not a fair market the spreads can be enormous between the bid and offer it's pretty much you throw out however many shares whatever round of financing that you own because these pre-ipo companies are early stage development companies if you want to think of them that way even SpaceX still is technically and they have different rounds of financing along the way earlier rounds will trade at a greater premium than later rounds because there's much greater equity there's also rights of accumulation in some of the earlier rounds of financing.
so liquidity is the issue when it comes to the batch of companies that destiny owns. they are not very liquid there is an anticipation that at some point they will go public at much higher valuations than they trade at and that's one of the reasons why this trades at a significant premium to the market.
whether you choose to buy it when it's up a buck and a half or wherever it's trading right now it's your choice I'm not going to tell you to do it or not to do it you can look at the chart it's been a complete train wreck a disaster but it does have rather large significant swings after periods of being dormant right in the $9-10 range is what we are witnessing right now.

10baggerbamm Team Crawford OP : I would tell you that if you are able to trade this leave all your profits in it and don't look back so if you trade it you make 500 bucks or a thousand bucks or whatever amount it is maybe make five grand I'd leave all the profits in here because this could turn out to be an enormous Grand slam home run when SpaceX does go public or one of the other companies goes public. what I would not do is buy it and hold it in perpetuity I would look for an opportunity to trade it leave the profits in play with the house of chips get your principal out of it and forget you on it if it goes to zero the hell with it if in 5 years you're sitting on an ETF that's trading at 150 or $200 because two or three other companies went public and have gone through the roof you'll be glad you left the profits in it
