$Direxion Daily Semiconductor Bear 3x Shares ETF (SOXS.US)$ According to the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond's latest survey, manufacturing activity in most parts of the District of Columbia, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia fell further into a negative range due to falling shipments and new orders. The Richmond Federal Reserve said on Wednesday that the December composite manufacturing index was -11, down from -5 in November. Shipments fell from -8 to -17, new orders dropped from -5 to -14, and employment fell from 0 to -1.
