roidisis : I really don't understand, leveraged ETFs are most afraid of volatile markets, as trading erosion during volatility will wipe out the principal indefinitely, and the high management fees every year will also consume the principal. When SOXX is 20% higher than the previous high, SOXL has not yet reached the previous high. Holding leveraged ETFs long term is equivalent to slow suicide.
