I personally did not partake in this because I felt the ship might tank any time, and I have not developed the risk appetite for that yet as I'm too new to the game. It was interesting to be a spectator, though. I learned something about how fluidly and quickly the market moves with news/ chatters/ propaganda/ disformation (bs on both sides of the political divide, more so Trump's side hands down).
All these learning have strengthened my confidence a bit more for taking advantage of opportunistic occasions like this in the future when it happens again.
