101848072 : Thats why now everybody start selling. Nothing else thats good left
Moomoo Buddy : Dear valued customer, generally, if you hold the listed company stocks before the ex-date, you will be qualified for dividends. For example: Assuming September 5 is the ex-dividend date for [Stock A], and both September 4th and 5th are trading days.
1. Hold 100 shares on the close of market on September 4, sell 100 shares on 5 September, will get dividends for 100 shares.
2. Hold 0 shares on the close of market on September 4, buy 100 shares on September 5, not eligible for dividends.
3. If [Stock A] is a US stock, the last date to buy it should be in the post market trading session on September 4th. Buying it during the Overnight Trading session on September 4th will be considered as a trade on September 5th.
Note:
For details, please refer to the listed company's announcement.
Ex-date and dividend date are different, dividend will automatically be deposited into your moomoo SG securities account after dividend date. Have a nice day!

Discern : If sell all 200 shares on ex-date with no stock left, still can receive dividend?
Discern : Are u saying as long as u hold stock before ex-date, u will get the dividend. You can then sell on ex-date, right?
polite Crane_9645 Moomoo Buddy :
Moomoo Buddy Discern : Dear valued customer, if you sell stocks on ex-date, and with no stock left, you still be able to get dividend. As long as you hold the stock one day before ex-date, you can get the dividend. Thanks for your support. Have a great day!
