Does the DAX shake near the flatline

DAX on Wednesday moved slightly around the 18520 level as the slump in the high-tech sector cooled investor sentiment in response to reports that the US would consider stricter trade restrictions if companies continued to provide China with access to advanced semiconductor technology.

Traders have also digested further corporate results and are awaiting the ECB's monetary policy decision scheduled for tomorrow.

Daimler Track Holding (-1.8%), Siemens Energy (-1.6%), Hanover Rück (-1.5%), Zalando (-1%), and Rheinmetall (-1%) had the worst performances.

In contrast, Adidas rose nearly 5% in response to the 2024 performance guidance increase.
