Do AMD processors have a higher failure rate than Intel processors? A US PC builder has published the results of their survey on failure rates from 2022.

On August 5, 2024 (excerpt)
Puget Systems, known as a high-performance PC builder, has released data on the failure rates of Intel and AMD processors. However, the results were unexpected considering the recent discussions about Intel's 13th and 14th generation Core processors. They contradict the reports of instability, crash rates, and failure rates, making it an interesting outcome.

“However, we need to be careful when interpreting this data. Puget Systems' shipments are relatively low at around 200 workstations per month, and the sales ratio between Intel and AMD also fluctuates greatly depending on the season. Normally, the ratio of Intel to AMD is 80 to 20, but it is said that this ratio was also reversed when AMD introduced superior products in 2021. This small sample size and unbalanced number of shipments are one of the factors that make it difficult to generalize the data.”
As you can see, I think it's still one fragment of information.
