$Quantum (QMCO.US)$ Looks like this company makes storage. Traditional, boring, solid state and even magnetic storage. All of which obey classical Newtonian physics.
Are people just buying the fu*king name?

There was a shake out and most companies making spinning rust were bought by someone bigger or disappeared or those divisions of bigger companies were shutdown. What's left, Seagate, Western Digital? Unless Quantum is secretly working on actual quantum stuff, people are just buying the name. And I think that's pretty crazy

Nisdey OP Jaguar8 : Thanks for that info. Sounds like just the kind of weird coincidence that flies these days. Notice how none of the finance press picked up on this, and just added it to the "quantum computing" "thematic investing" portfolio.
