Doubled in four months
Yesterday, I saw a post from the Moo Show's profitable sector/event: thx apple . I have no opinion on these ladies. Make money, well, how little money and time, and whether your ability is high or low; that's all you need to earn. I'm just starting a new post of my own. Earn your own popularity.
No nonsense: I'm just a regular working dog. In 2017, I started playing with US stocks and options. Floating, floating, and heavy. Play the game for someone else. Lost someone else a million dollars. Not enough to mention. I've been doing it myself for the last 2 years.
Generally speaking, I prefer to go long on stocks on a weekly basis and go short on options when there is a panic or IV premium (the bigger the wind and waves, the more expensive the fish!). Occasionally, during the day, they also trade short stocks, and play with financial reports. Don't play fairy stocks, and don't play at the end of the day (won't play).
Also: It's understandable that MOO makes a profit for this kind of show. But I don't like it. Is it inciting young people to actively trade? MOO has a lot of ways to solicit and lure customers: first use account opening rewards and monetary fund subsidies to defraud them, then give stock trading coupons and commission coupons. Then there is a transfer reward in an attempt to take over all of the customer's assets. Great, awesome.
Another 2: The fees for moo trading options are too black. Maybe IBKR. However, IBKR's stock trading commissions are slightly more expensive than MOO. Can be used on both sides. After all, I'm over 30, and I'm not as aggressive as when I was in my 20s — “PHP is the best language”, “Emacs is the best text editor”, “IBKR is the perfect ThinkorSwim! No matter how you blow up on the outside, how user-friendly the TOS software is. What's the face of not being able to even do a mirrored arrangement of option chains?” —— I can completely absorb all the good parts, the good parts, and use them for me.
