Drone attack kills 1 and injures at least 10 others in Tel Aviv, Israel

The Israeli military is investigating this attack and says it is investigating why the country's defense failed to intercept “aerial targets.”
According to reports, the Houthis in Yemen claimed responsibility for an obvious drone attack (1 person killed and at least 10 injured) against Tel Aviv in Israel.
A Houthi armed group spokesman said in a social media post on Friday that groups aligned with Iran “targeted 'Tel Aviv' in occupied Palestine.”
They argued that they used a new drone that “evaded the interception system and was not detected by radar.”
The Israeli military said it will begin an investigation into the massive explosion near the American embassy office in the same city and investigate why the country's air defense system did not operate to intercept “aerial targets.”
“We're talking about large UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles) capable of flying long distances,” a military official said during a press briefing after the air strike. “We are not ruling out any possibility right now.”
The Israeli Air Force posted on social media that it has increased patrols to “protect the nation's skies.”
The Israeli police said the body of a man was found in an apartment near the explosion site and they are investigating the situation.
In the video from the hypocenter, broken glass was scattered on the sidewalk, and wild horses gathered near the building with the hypocenter ruins. The scene was sealed off with police tape.
Israeli opposition politician Yair Lapid said the attack was “further proof that this government does not know and cannot give the safety of Israeli citizens.”
“Whoever loses deterrence in the north and south will also lose in central Tel Aviv. There are no policies or plans, just public relations and discussions about ourselves. They (the government) must leave,” the party leader of the centrist political party Yesh Atid wrote on X.
While Israel is attacking Gaza, the Houthis have repeatedly launched drones and missiles at Israel and at Israel-related ships in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden to show support for the Palestinians.
The Associated Press reports that all attempts by the Houthis to attack Israel until Friday's early morning attack were blocked either by Israel's defensive lines or by Western allied forces stationed in the region.
Hezbollah in southern Lebanon has also stepped up attacks against military targets in northern Israel, and it has stated that they are acting in solidarity with the Palestinians while close to 0.03 million9,000 people have died in Israel's invasion of Gaza.
