Lucky777 : Actually, almost every single day have some sort of bond auction sale...sometimes the yield is higher, sometimes is lower...
But, whether the yield is higher (usually if yield is higher market tank)/lower (usually if yield is lower market spikes) is not the main catalyst of market tanking/spiking
Today, the yield is actually lower, by right the market should spike, however the market still tanks
Last week when the market was rallying, the yield was actually higher
Whether a market tanks/spikes depend on what the market makers/hedge funds want .......
The market has reach a resistance level, and, to be honest it’s pretty clear consumer demand has decreased as evidenced by Apple sale/low production level in China (a lot of factories in China has gone bankrupt coz there’s no order from US)...there’s still a lot of uncertainties in the market... that’s why the market makers need a reason to tank the market at least for one or 2 days coz the market has been up for almost 10 days...
But, whether US will have a soft landing or whether or not US will go into a slight recession, nobody knows...
If you are paying attention, you’ll notice at 1 pm sharp every single day, 80% of the time, the candle on the Spy/qqq is a red candle....
A lot of traders clear their positions just before 1 pm to avoid volatility
Powell is speaking now at 2pm at the IMF, which gives the market makers even more excuse to tank the market...

MM is the one that controls the narrative. I know that is why I day trade today. I booked my tech gains already back in August. now I am just day trading and waiting for the day the shit hits the fan. I am actually looking to accumulate old economy stocks
