MooSting 103176462 : The emini NQ is a leverage product . 1 point move is equal to $20. If the index move 20 point then you either gain or lose $400. You need to have $21780 margin to hold 1 lot overnight . If your margin fall by $2000 you have to top up maintain your holding overnight or risk force closing.
Normally the emini NQ is for day trading. To try out you can trade the micro MNQ first. 1 point move of micro is just $2.

103176462 : MNQ is same index as NQ.. but with small lot size it seems.. is my understanding correct??
MooSting 103176462 : It is the same index only the leverage is lower. You just need $2178 to trade 1 lot if you hold overnight. Take note the expiry date of the contract.
