Arun10 : the report can tell us about the company current position in it's business, which helps with whether or not the stock is valuable to buy or sell

Arun10 : yes, but sometimes there's no guarantee cause you have to keep an eye on other news
sometimes report show good news, but can be some other news that affect the stock price.
But the ER is a good baseline

Arun10 : good baseline as in, a good basic to use as an indicator if a stock is valuable or not
Che Muhd Irfan OP Arun10 : i see.. the news will be coming out before the market opens..? because I'm afraid about that cause I heard some traders or investors talk about ER will give a great or bad impact to the market.. if ER positive will get a long gap upwards..? then take profits..?
Arun10 Che Muhd Irfan OP : Usually news is after market close. If ER positive, that is a good indicator that the company is doing good for it's business
If you're a short term trader, then sure, ride the wave after the reports and then take your profits.
