$EDUSPEC (0107.MY)$ One of the DC clients of CIG Shanghai is YTLP, and CIG has established a subsidiary in Malaysia to collaborate with EG. It is believed that one of Eduspec’s major shareholders is CIG, under the name ECIG Sdn Bhd. We can expect to see Eduspec’s 5G testing services gain traction with external customers, not just benefiting symbiotically from EG. Additionally, there could be synergy between Eduspec and ND Rubber Thailand who recently started a subsidiary for 5G testing business (where EG is a major shareholder), especially as Google is building a data center in Thailand, projected to be operational by 2025. This could present opportunities for Eduspec to benefit from Google’s investment in Thailand. A large number of 5G transceivers will need testing before being sold to DC customers.
