And Hermès, with its Birkin handbag the pinnacle of discreet Parisian luxury? It once again reports organic growth of 11 percent. Consumer giant Unilever saw growth recover to 4.5 percent last quarter.
These reassuring updates seem to be giving the European stock markets a fairly strong start. The futures point to a light green opening soon at the bell.
