Eventful week

We have lots of Fed officials speaking this week. But the market will likely be most interested in Powell’s words during the upcoming Jackson Hole symposium

This symposium is an annual event, and one of the largest central banking conferences in the world.

Lots of economists, analysts, and US government representatives will be coming together to discuss long-term policy issues.

Other things to watch this week would be new home sales and July’s FOMC meeting minutes.
