Question: Why does the US cpi affect the world economy indexs. US is US alone, so why does it affect everyone. another question: the rest of the world, cpi, doesn't even affect their neighbours' country 🙄 why is that so funny ?? 😆 What make US so special?

EZ_money : depends on which way you look at it. simplified version it's about the dollar and about the economy. this is the largest economy in the world that can impact others, the dollar is the strongest currency and the world's reserve currency everything is priced in USD. if we still are experiencing inflation and they lower rates that could mean inflation stays and the dollar gets weaker
