102730170 : I'm surprised in the year of 2024 people don't seem to realize the hold Nvidia has on just the GPU market alone. Graphics cards are always in high demand to the gamers demographic alone, let alone the would-be AI uses it's bound to see.
The company would have to royally screw up like Intel did with their 13th and 14th Generation chips AND have an exponentially more dependable rival for them to REALLY fail. And while AMD has proven themselves to be the more reliable chip makers, their graphics cards lineups are really not at Nvidia's level and that isn't just speculation.
Ask anyone what their brands of CPU are and you would at least see a relatively close to 50% split, but ask anyone what their GPU is and it wouldn't be unreasonable to estimate that 90% of PC users would respond that they have an Nvidia card. And while this is not an attempt of throwing shade at AMD, they have hardly even come close despite trying to be the more affordable option of the two.
