Extra stock for you to look at this week.

$Nike(NKE.US)$ earnings on 27th June post market.

Recent performance for Nike for the past 3 quarters have beat forecast by an average of ~25% (source: MSN Money). However, for financial year 2023, Nike has underperformed compared to its rival like Adidas and dropping since December 2023.

"Once a favorite, Nike has been losing fans as it grapples with competition from the likes of On Holding AG, Deckers Outdoor Corp.'s Hoka and Adidas AG. Citi analysts led by Paul Lejuez said in a note Thursday that Adidas is continuing to gain ground on Nike in North America, China and Europe." - Source: Bloomberg

Extra stock for you to look at this week.

In worst case scenario, I am looking at support at around ~$93, if dropping further, I'm watching support around $90. Going to see what's the pre-market is like before jumping into the stock. What do you think earnings of Nike will be like?

$Rivian Automotive(RIVN.US)$ making headlines yesterday as it reached a 5 BILLION Dollar deal with Volkswagen, making it jumped 50% in post-market.

The companies announced plans for a joint venture supported by an initial $1 billion investment from VW in Rivian and up to $4 billion more over time. In exchange, VW will get access to the startup's technology for use in its own EVs and a partner to develop "next-generation" battery-powered vehicles and software.

We have long known that Rivian, a competitor to Tesla, have performed really badly with shrinking profit and dissapointing sales. Not just Rivian, but the market for EV has also been declining as well.

With this, will Rivian's future more optimism now?
