$Faraday Future Intelligent Electric Inc. (FFIE.US)$ My stock trading theory is don't hold stocks until the next day because no one knows what will happen tomorrow! From my observation, most stocks drop very much the next day because people buy it when it goes up (when it goes up, that's when you find it on the featured list and buy it) and you lost a lot of money when it is falling the next day. FFIE and NVDA have proven this! Even NVDA is falling (-10% decrease, when it drops very much). Some people often say: ''hold it (NVDA), and it will go up 10% or more)'' Well, you're probably right, but even a stock that is rising often falls for a few seconds or minutes before rising again. When you hold for a week and it drops 50 times during that time, if I buy when the price drops for a few minutes, I trade 50 times and win 50 times, whereas when you hold and trade for the long term, you only win once.

  • MrSuperStonk : you are right. the truth is that most people dont have the time or the know how to trade that much. So they will invest long term and then retreive after a couple years to pay a big purchase. Nvidia went up a 150% a year. Wich means that if you were smart you could have sold at right times and would have gained 600% the past year. Do you get my point ?

  • Jazz Dancer OP MrSuperStonk : correct !

  • Ken Griffin Charity : This is such spectacularly bad advice.

Since it’s that easy, and you can “trade 50 times and win 50 times”, how about you share those wins of yours?

This platform contains far too many clueless people spreading dangerous ideas. There really needs to be more oversight because it seems that over half of the active commenters on here treat the stock market like tarot cards and have no idea what they’re doing.
