📈 FBMKLCI-CQK soars 23.8% as underlying extends gain

• Malaysia's Deputy Finance Minister stated that the recent significant influx of foreign funds into the local market is a positive indicator for investors, reflecting the strengthening ringgit and a robust local economy. She also mentioned that the ringgit, which had been considered undervalued for quite some time, has recently attracted investor interest. (Bernama, 6 Aug).

• As at the lunch break at 12:30PM, the FBM KLCI futures were up 1.8% to trade at 1,593.0, extending gains from yesterday's 2.3% rebound while Macquarie’s focus call warrant over the FBM KLCI, FBMKLCI-CQK has jumped as much 23.8% so far today.

• Investors with a view that the FBM KLCI futures will trend higher may wish to gain leveraged exposure via FBMKLCI-CQK. Conversely, bearish investors may consider put warrant FBMKLCI-HM7 which moves in an opposite direction to the underlying, rising as the underlying declines and vice versa.
