you're welcome, hope the day is going well, I think you're American, can you answer a question for me? when do the polls close in America and vote counting start? I'm Canadian so I'm a little rusty on your election day procedures

So depends on the state! About 10 close 7PM est then 8PM and i believe Alaska is the last to close at 12AM est! As far as counting that varies as well! But if it a big win for either? We will know sometime late this evening! But some states have laws that they could not start counting early vote until today! So if it’s close? We may not know for days? Grrrr that’s ridiculous but what the Dems have turned it in to!

oh ok I gotcha, up here I do believe all provincial polls close at 8pm just depends on time zones, we usually know based on seats (each province is broken up into ridings, which are then won by a representative of one of our 3-5 parties, whoever gets over the amount of seats required wins although minority governments and coalitions can happen to and their party leader becomes prime minister) who has won by the next day, usually by midnight but people gotta sleep you know lol

Thanks! I do pay attention up there some! But wasn’t sure exactly how it works! I don’t care for who is leading there now! Same as I hate what has happened to our country in let 3.5+ years! I would one day before I get to old! Hehehe! Come up there and trap for a week or 2!

honestly there is a lot of vacation hunting and fishing up here in the remote areas, beautiful country side with lots of amazing places to see, fish, hunt. you would enjoy yourself if you like those things plus there's just a lot of nice things in a lot of the big cities like everywhere else. Im more progressive but I don't care for Trudeau either, well any of the party leaders really, their personalities aren't meshing with mine and the policies are good from the parties in general but I would prefer new Democrats they got us free dental care of you don't have insurance which is huge for kids, they also wanted 10$ a day daycare and the liberals who they are coalitioned with kinda messed it all up and it didn't work like it should have. I must say though as an outside observer I think a lot of stuff in the USA can be solved with good dialogue and the ability to make concessions and work together since it's really only 2 parties

Yes beautiful country! As far as getting things done? It can’t as long as you have some ( really both sides ) But a lot in Democrat party! They actually don’t think that we the people are their boss! They terribly abuse their power and think they know better! Then they lie to the low information voters and twist numbers with just enough truth that makes it sound believable! Also they regulate to either control people. And or to enrich their friends in business! I have a lot of things I don’t like about Trump! But I do remember before the scourge of Covid came in! We had the best economy, lowest inflation, highest wage growth for all groups! The lowest earners making the largest gains! So I need to be fair and judge a man by his deed/actions! Not words! Because 90% of out politicians are just words! Then do the opposite!

very much the same here, lots of failed promises and good ideas that never come to pass, not very promising when you're looking at giving someone the reins for 4 years. so I generally have alot of doubts when it comes to elections and whether the policies will actually happen, only way they do is in a majority and we haven't had one in a while so maybe on the next one we will have a decisive election and clear majority, but people here are more likely to vote for another party if the policies and such align with their views more then their typical party. because when you vote here your voting for the person in your area that will sit in Parliament and is supposed to represent the views of their riding with their vote on bills ideally, so there's a higher chance of swing voters because of local issues
白静雪 : So it will fall, market maker don’t want to lose money
corbotron OP 白静雪 : it speaks to me of an expected rise over .50 , if you expect it to drop you would be buying put options at .50
