Feedback for #MooFest2024

it was my first time attending #moofest and I echo what the rest have mentioned: better queue management/crowd control and a bigger venue is needed.
truly, too many things were happening at the same time, which was rather messy. made worse with people crowding around exhibitors’ booths. at one point my friends and i were worried that there would be a stampede, which fortunately didn’t happen but almost did with all the shoving and pushing without much walking space.
we were also approached several times by lost attendees asking whether they were in the right “queues”, and where to get the stickers and lucky draw card. while there were busy #moomoo staff behind booths trying to give out goodies and clear the long queues as quick as possible, we had also observed that there were #moomoo staff standing around chit chatting among themselves and getting in the way without helping with crowd control. there was one exhibitor booth with a one man show and we could see that he was struggling to manage the crowd asking for stickers and giving out corporate gifts at the same time. perhaps #moomoo staff just standing around could have helped with the crowd control for that booth.
we also encountered a situation where an elderly had approached one of the #moomoo staff asking where to get the #moomoo plush, the staff answered impatiently “redeem from the app la” and walked away. the elderly looked confused and disappointed. while there were many advertising banners and standees placed around the venue, better instructions on how to claim/redeem for #moomoo souvenirs are needed.
finally, while my friends and i still had fun, and appreciate the time and efforts put in by the #moomoo team in organising this event, we hope that the team can also take into consideration our feedback to make future #moofest a more pleasant experience for everyone. cheers!~
