$BABA-SW (09988.HK)$ Financial｜Arima issues $50 billion convertible bond share price falls by more than 5%
Alibaba (09988) is considering issuing about $50 billion in convertible bonds to fund share buybacks and business growth, Bloomberg reported, citing sources.
Alibaba has been in talks with the bidder on issuing bonds convertible into U.S.-listed shares, which could be issued as soon as this week, but has not yet made a final decision, insiders said.
The price of Ali shares closed at $78.6 million, down 5.24% for sales of $79.42 billion.
