This_Guy OP 74582856 : swing just means I bought the stock today and will hold on to it for a day, 2 days, 3 days or more, hoping for it to pop (increase in price). It can be risky because they can go down. You also have to decide at some point if you want to continue swinging it or just sell because they don't always pop.
