The morning dollar saw trading around 154 yen and a half. Ahead of the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) meeting, the previous day's sharp rise took a breather, but the demand for the dollar remained unchanged. At one point, it slightly exceeded the previous day's overseas high of 154.71 yen, retesting the highest level in 3 months.
