France's trade deficit widens to 8 billion euros in May
France's trade deficit widened from the previous month's downward revision of 7.5 billion euros to 8 billion euros in 2024/5, exceeding market expectations of 7.2 billion euros.
France's trade balance averaged minus 1.8 billion 93.68 million euros from 1970 to 2024, reached a record high of 2.6 billion74 million euros in 1997/10, and reached a record low of minus 1.6 billion88 million euros in 2022/9.
