$Futu Holdings Ltd (FUTU.US)$ in China, the biggest shareholders is who? the government because the national team has been buying shares but the price still went down earlier. Now that the price has recovered, if the price continue to stabilise, I expect fiscal polices to be rolled out for China because earlier, the local government have a lot of debt and unable to afford more fiscal actions. Now that the shares owned by government have made a gain, the government can use them as collaterals to raise funds to fund fiscal policy. So I think consumer stocks will do well and will buy more when there is a dip. However, for non Chinese brokerages like Moomoo, price hike is purely speculation because Chinese government does not encourage capital flight out of China. And HK stocks can be bought using a Chinese brokerages using HK connect, so the main advantage of Moomoo over Chinese brokerages is the ability to buy US Chinese ADRs. But I cannot understand why ADRs are preferred to China A stocks at this point as the stumulas policies benefit A stocks directly and that is what the government owns and hold. Unless you tell me the government bought US Chinese ADRs earlier and so have a vested interest to ensure the prices are higher than before?
