  • 10baggerbamm : it was rather disappointing to see the price action. but let's take a more objective look. why not compare what Schwab offers and Fidelity offers to what moomoo offers on this app. I can tell you my first hand experience having used ameritrade's app which Schwab obviously acquired Ameritrade and now I'm using Schwab's I also have a private brokerage account at Fidelity and use their app. the amount of information the quantity of information the ease of accessibility the way that information that you want is pushed to you by moomoo the level two quotes as a basket of what I just said is so Superior to the technology that Schwab and Fidelity offers on their app there is no comparison. what is lacking on moo moo is the inability to speak with a person in real time over an issue I'll give you a for example. I had 10,000 shares of a security bought and paid for but it's sitting in a type 2 margin account and I have an agreement signed with fidelity where the securities can be loaned out and I collect interest from somebody that wants to short them in the world don't matter to me I could care less and every month I get paid interest for however long the security was borrowed on a per diem basis. last week I wanted to write a covered call to collect some free cash for the couple days left before Friday on this position when I go into my account to initiate a covered call trade I cannot because I see the securities are on loan. within 30 seconds of me calling I'm on with private brokerage they speak to the loan department and within about 2 minutes the securities are called back and I'm able to write a covered call so about 4 minutes from start to finish I'm able to initiate a trade. moo moo has no call center and it takes about 2 days for them to respond via the app. that's what they need to work on if they want big money to come in you need a physical person that speaks your language in your country fluently that can resolve an issue immediately.

  • 10baggerbamm austinwm : it's a valid point and hopefully they address it because big money wants to have access when they want it not at the convenience of a third party taking their time.. I move money in and out of Fidelity in a day and when I transferred money in to moo moo and I just use it to have access to the app I haven't traded on it yet but I like the information I like the layout I can tell you that their option prices that they show or about a quarter high compared to what I get at Fidelity when I say hi in the opposite direction so if I'm trying to sell a call I get better pricing at Fidelity than I am being shown here and if I'm going to buy a put I'm saving a quarter more on average at Fidelity versus here.. so something's not right with the option chain that's being shown because I have the screen side by side in real time and I'm getting better prints at Fidelity so that's a concern I have. but the data the information the layout the push of information to you relative to what you're interested in they have the right idea and I think this app is vastly superior to Fidelity or Schwab so they're like 90% of the way there and convincing me to move money over but they have a few areas they have to work on first
