Futu Wealth Management Hits US$10b AUM
Congratulations to Futu on hitting a major AUM milestone!
I have been putting my idle cash in $Fullerton SGD Cash Fund (18000222.FD)$ and gained returns close to T-bills while maintaining the flexibility to withdraw my money within a couple days. This is a money market fund that allows me to sleep at night without worries. The feature to deduct money directly from the DDA bank account when subscribing to mutual funds is convenient.
Time in the market beats timing the market. Here are my returns to date:
I also enjoy the regular webinar sessions hosted by moomoo which allow us to tap the minds of fund managers on important developments as well as clarify any questions we may have about the featured mutual funds. I learnt quite a bit more about $United SGD Fund (18000837.FD)$ and $PIMCO GIS Income Fund MDis (18000339.FD)$ . Please keep up the good work!
My suggestions for moomoo Money Plus:
1. Improve the exchange rate spread for those wanting to invest in USD funds like $CSOP USD Money Market Fund (18000597.FD)$ .
2. Webinars: When I change my phone to landscape mode to make the slide appear bigger during the webinars, the transcript blocks critical parts of the slides on the right just below the middle part. Can this be moved to a lower position? If I tap the x button, the transcript occupies the right hand side of the screen while the video occupies the left which is not ideal as the video frame gets shrunk.
3. The new “redeem to debit card” function can be confusing. Firstly, the term “debit card” is supposed to refer to bank account but local users generally don’t refer to their bank accounts as debit cards. Secondly, selecting the option doesn’t actually redeem and withdraw the money to the bank account. It simply brings one to the withdrawal page. If the units have not been redeemed or the money from redemption has not yet arrived, no money can be withdrawn. I understand many new users who join moomoo for the 6.8%pa promotion are not familiar with how to withdraw money from their moomoo accounts and they may need something to direct them to the withdrawal page but I think the phrasing can be improved on.
4. More fund cash coupons that can give us extra yields.
