Future outlook

$ZIM Integrated Shipping(ZIM.US)$ at this rate, is it recommended to hold or sell? Possibility of ZIM closing down and bankrupt? Is there light at the end of the tunnel coz right now it felt like bottomless

  • 70862468 : I feel like right now stock is under pressure due to wars and other events. Maybe it will go down in short term, but in long term, it still can recover

  • 70661304 : At least apparently, there won't be any good news for the next year. I don't know if it will go bankrupt, but there is no reason for it to rise

  • Gold Wizard : Under a lot of pressure due to Israel Palestine conflict, but I think it’s still a hold. Shipping always takes a hit during crises like this. Bad earnings report though. Don’t see any signs of it bouncing back soon

  • Rigid Bull 70661304 : War has not affected Zim buisiness. You know the market it is pricing too much into Zim. This company has been around for over 100 years and understands the economic cycles. Zim is well positioned to take advantage of the next growth cycle. Around 2025 Zim will have the youngest most efficient fleet in the world and take market share from its competetors.

Zim short term pressure but Long term will do well. I just see a great buisiness under pressure..I am buying more and more each month.

  • 70661304 Rigid Bull : I also agree with you that this company has a long history and should have a plan for dealing with cyclical pressure, so I also think the company should not go bankrupt. The problem, however, is that the shipping cycle is five to ten years at any rate. Combined with the company's many chartering contracts at historic highs, I really don't see any possibility or investment value for the company to reverse losses.

  • Rigid Bull : There is definatly risk, the question is can Zim be in a better position than its competition. The share price is also been weighed down by the war in Israel/ Palestine. Time will tell of it was a good or bad investment

  • Ziggz420 : bankrupt your talking about a company that's been around since 1945 and has almost 2 billion in free cash I'm buying more and holding might take a yr or 2 but think I'll look like a genius in the long run

  • Ziggz420 Rigid Bull : fully agree with this whole statement zim will bounce back in 1-3,yrs and the ppl buying now and holding will look like financial genius in long run
