$GameStop (GME.US)$ people should stop fantasizing about GME. 4 billion cash mean nothing if a retail shop made decisions on shrinking their business. lets be real, they have no plan with their money.

  • DaisyDowner : I love it

  • The Doctor : Hello… Well, at least they have money for unexpected purchases or other fantasies. The real economic weakness is slowly coming and then the moment of truth will come. If other companies go under, GME can choose where to position itself in the future.

  • DaisyDowner : ..the plan of no plan

  • John Doe78 : Someone gets it

  • Michael Smith793 : Pretty hot take. My economics classes told me that low liabilities, high cash on hand, and anywhere close to break even operating cost was a positive mid term outlook for a retail model if they don't just fucking fumble the opportunity. But my professors were broke geezers so. I have no faith in fighting wallstreet for moon or whatever but I do think a giant like many that have fallen to situations like this has made their last stand with enough resources to pivot into something positive in ten years

  • Joseph Brooks : Worried much? Lmao

  • Ken Griffin Charity2 : People here don’t understand the purpose of investments. Cash is not a revenue generating asset. If  cash were investible, people would be better off buying gold.
4b cash, half of which came from dilution, also does not even make GME worth 10b, and these people think the company has room to grow [undefined]

  • Tonyco : This. If they were investing their cash into some plan to stay competitive, it would be different... they are essentially the blockbuster of video games right now...
