GB200 is expected to expand in 2025 and NVIDIA is rising
According to Trend Force analysis, NVIDIA (NASDAQ: NVDA)'s stock price rose slightly on Wednesday. The company's new GB200 rackmount AI and HPC servers will be mass-produced in the 2nd and 3rd quarters of 2025, and shipments are expected to peak.
A consulting firm based in Taiwan has stated that “concerns have arisen that delays in obtaining parts and shipping systems may occur due to the GB200's advanced design requirements.”
Trend Force stated that production of Blackwell GPU chips is progressing almost as expected, with limited shipments in the fourth quarter of 2024, and production will expand after the first quarter of 2025.
“However, as AI server system components are still undergoing supply chain adjustments, shipments at the end of 2024 are expected to fall short of industry expectations.”What is Trend ForceI pointed it out.
“The GB200 NVL72 is expected to be the most widely adopted model in 2025, and there is a possibility that it will account for 80% of the total number of installations as NVIDIA strengthens its entry into the market,” the company added.
After more than doubling in the first half of this year, Nvidia's stock price has remained rather stagnant for the past six months.
