According to the 2024 information and communication white paper announced by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications on the 5th, only 9% of people have used generative AI (artificial intelligence) in Japan. It seems that usage has not progressed compared to the US (46%) and China (56%).

　　The ministry also conducted surveys on companies in various countries, and Japan responded that it is a policy to actively utilize generative AI. China was 71%, the US 46%, and Germany 30%.
