Looking just at BEVs, Tesla remained in the lead with 20.9%, down from 21.8% in June. The US make has a comfortable lead over BYD (15.6%, up from 15.1%), making it unlikely the Chinese automaker will be able to remove Tesla from the BEV throne this year. Next year, however … stay tuned.
TWP PaPa : Got premium car category data for BEV?
ZnWC OP TWP PaPa : No I don't.
TWP PaPa ZnWC OP : thanks the the rest of the info given.
ZnWC OP TWP PaPa : You're welcome. Will update if I have more info.
bullrider_21 : BYD managed to push up sales mainly using PHEV (almost 50%). There you go again. Time after time. Trying to create the false impression that BYD use PHEVs to push up sales. BYD started making ICE cars, then PHEVs and BEVs. They stop making ICE cars last year. They are phasing out PHEVs. Tesla starting out only making BEVs.
ZnWC OP bullrider_21 : Thanks for contributing "comment".
ZnWC OP : According to InsideEVs, BYD Q1 & Q2 2023 delivery
Plug-in EV (BEV+PHEV) is 1,248,168 units
BEV is 615,064 units.
Simple calculation will showed that about 50% of BYD delivery is PHEV. There's no evidence that BYD is going to phase out PHEV.
ZnWC OP : Someone just crashed into other article and made baseless comment.
ZnWC OP : I shared this article that Tesla has the largest BEV market share. Read here:

bullrider_21 ZnWC OP : Just go and ask BYD if they are going to make PHEV forever.
