🥇Gold price gains following Powell’s speech
•Gold continued to rise following Fed Chair Jerome Powell's indication in his Jackson Hole speech last Friday that the time for interest rate cuts has arrived.
•The SPDR® Gold Trust (GLDHK; 2840 HK) is up 0.7% to HKD1,811 as at 10.45AM this morning, 3.7% higher month-to-date.
•The GLDHK is an exchange traded fund (ETF) with shares listed on the Hong Kong exchange. It is designed to reflect the price performance of the gold bullion as it tracks the LBMA Gold Price PM.Investors may now gain leveraged exposure to the gold bullion market via Macquarie’s new GLDHK call warrant, GLDHK-C3 that is listed on Bursa Malaysia.
