2. The stock price has breakout from its sideways trend and now seems to be trending upward after the news of more crude oil output cuts announced in early August 2023.

3. Multiple funds have increased their positions in XOM such as MicroSectors Oil & Gas Exp. & Prod. 3x Leveraged ETN ( $MICROSECTORS OIL & GAS EXP. & PROD. 3X LEVERAGED ETN (OILU.US)$ ), Proshares Ultra Energy ( $ProShares Ultra Energy (DIG.US)$ ) and Direxion Daily Energy Bull 2x Shares ( $Direxion Daily Energy Bull 2X Shares ETF (ERX.US)$ ).
