Google announces “secure AI” coalition

On Thursday, Alphabet Inc.'s Google LLC introduced the “Coalition for Secure AI (CoSAI),” which tackles the issue of security measures that can deal with risks brought about by AI, on its blog. Members of the coalition include Amazon.com Inc., Intel Corporation, Microsoft Corporation, Nvidia Corporation, OpenAI, etc.

The first three areas of focus are software supply chain security for AI, preparing defenders for a changing cybersecurity environment, and AI security governance.

Furthermore, Google details that “COSAI will cooperate with organizations such as Frontier Model Forum, Partnership on AI, Open Source Security Foundation, and ML Commons to promote responsible AI.”
