This new lawsuit focuses on Google's online advertising business, which generated over 200 billion dollars in revenue last year. The U.S. Department of Justice and 17 states allege that Google's parent company, Alphabet, monopolized multiple digital advertising technology products by neutralizing or excluding competing companies. The Department of Justice stated that this has caused 'significant harm to online publishers, advertisers, and consumers in the United States'.
