$Sony (SONY.US)$ in its 2022 financial year, reported a net income of almost seven billion U.S. dollars. The company's gaming and network services segment has become its highest earner, accounting for a significant portion of Sony's overall revenue. In Q1 2023, it reported a 31% drop in operating income in the fiscal first quarter, citing a decrease in profits at its financial services and movies businesses. The company raised sales forecasts for the full year, which is largely thanks to a boost from its PlayStation games business.
Sony updated its revenue forecast for its full fiscal year ending in March 2024 to 12.2 trillion yen from 11.5 trillion yen, which was also better than the 11.9 trillion yen consensus. It also has a current PE of 16.28, considerably a good company to invest in.
As usual, DYODD before making any investment!

Meta have pivoted from their metaverse into AI as their pursuit of the metaverse have been haemorging massive fundings. Therefore I'm not holding my breath for the metaquest supply chains but among 55 analysts, the median target price for Texas Instruments stands at $183.36, with a high estimate of $230 and a low estimate of $150 with good financial scores it is rated as a strong buy. So if I were to pick one out of the 3 it would be TI.
