  • 風車の見張り番 OP : There is talk about stock prices on page 8, but is this about people in the company?
It's kind of long, but isn't there any particularly new information?
I looked at the translation of the table of contents, but nothing particularly caught my eye.
For now, the center changed this year, but does it mean that it's going to continue from now on, so you can rest assured?

  • たかつ丸 風車の見張り番 OP : It's 4.25 now, how far do you think it will drop? Please let me know.

  • 風車の見張り番 OP たかつ丸 : I can't say how far, but if people who hold it at a high price don't shake, they'll probably give up selling it. I pray the opposite doesn't happen. Also, there must be a lot of people who want to buy it at this low price. I think the reason they can't be bought is because this company doesn't specifically disclose the direction, but I wonder what's going on.

  • たかつ丸 : Thank you, what exactly does unblurred in a sentence mean?

  • 風車の見張り番 OP たかつ丸 : In another comment section, there was an opinion that there is no profit even if you sell short, that is, if you short sell at a high price and sell at a low price, you make money, but in response to the question of the purpose of whether you make money by short selling at such a low price, this is being sold for the purpose of letting go of the person who held it at a high price. If that is the case, if the person holding it at a high price lets go, it will get on with the situation and still sell, and conversely, if the person who holds it at the high price doesn't move, they will eventually give up. On top of that, if the company shows future policies more concretely, apart from bargaining as described above, there is a possibility that stock prices will rise as spontaneous expectations for the company. Well, I don't know what the standard is.

  • たかつ丸 : thank you very much. Understood. There's a long way to go.

  • 風車の見張り番 OP たかつ丸 : I imagine they are in the same situation. It can't be helped anymore, even if you are disappointed due to detailed price movements. If we can't see the new direction of the company itself, there won't be any major changes for the better. But the top people here have potash mines in Kazakhstan. The food issue is an issue going forward, and potash, which is used as fertilizer, is important for China, which has a large population. Also, China's Belt and Road Initiative has recently been criticized, but “in the past 10 years, the total import/export value between the Beijing region and countries involved in the joint construction of the Belt and Road has reached 14.46 trillion yuan (about 298 trillion 267.8 billion yen).” Yes, and the impact on stock prices cannot be ignored. In that sense, I am hopeful that there will be no such thing as grouping potash mine resource development companies into groups or expanding sales channels for fire safety systems to the Kazakh region other than Hong Kong in the new business diversification of current managers. Well, there are no such calls at all. But if you don't think that way, you don't understand at all what it means for a fire safety systems company to change its name to Resource Group. I would like to wait for messages from the company without being overjoyed for a while.

“China: Domestic potassium fertilizer prices have risen, and there is a possibility that they will rise further due to the invasion of Ukraine

According to data released by China Agricultural Materials Distribution Network on 2022/3/10, China's potassium chloride wholesale price index on 2022/3/7 was 4,139.64 points, up 7.18% from the previous day and 90.54% from the same period last year. Also, according to the China Agricultural Resources Distribution Association, in the week from 2022/2/28 to 3/4, the wholesale price of domestic potassium chloride in Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Shandong, Guangdong, and Sichuan provinces rose 50 to 250 yuan/t from the previous week. Import prices in Heilongjiang, Shandong, Hunan, Guangdong and Jiangxi provinces rose 50 to 300 yuan/t from the previous week.
The main reason for the rise in potassium fertilizer prices is that while demand for potassium fertilizer increases during the spring farming period, supply is limited, and overseas prices soar sharply. Along with the increase in cultivation demand in spring, the occupancy rate of downstream compound fertilizer companies as a whole is strong, and the occupancy rate remains at least 40%. Procurement volume in the potassium chloride market is also strong.
Also, due to Russia's invasion of Ukraine, the amount of imported potassium shipped to ports declined, and import prices also soared. According to the China Agricultural Resources Distribution Association, the estimated price of 62% potassium produced in Russia from 2022/2/28 to 3/4 was 4,600 to 4,700 yuan/t, up 5.6 to 6.8% from the previous week. Particulate potassium was 4,600 to 4,700 yuan/t, up 2.2 to 4.4% from the previous week.
China is a major importer of potassium fertilizer, and potassium chloride accounts for a large proportion of fertilizer imports. According to China Customs, China imported 7.57 million tons of potassium chloride in 2021, accounting for more than 80% of the 9.09 million tons of fertilizer imported in the same year. Fertilizer analyst Dai Li said that China imports 50% or more of potassium fertilizer every year (out of demand), of which about 2 million tons are imported from Russia or Belarus. Potassium fertilizer producers in the world are mainly concentrated in the United States, Canada, Russia, and Belarus and some other countries.
On 2022/3/10, Russia's Minister of Industry Manturov announced that Russia will temporarily stop exporting chemical fertilizers. According to Russian Foreign Trade Bank (VTB Capital) analysts, they showed the view that the suspension of exports would affect all major markets, including Europe, Asia, and Latin America. If the supply of chemical fertilizers is interrupted, there is a possibility that prices will rise globally.
The EU has also declared that it will add new sanctions against Belarus. Among them were export restrictions on potassium fertilizers or expanding the scope of Belarusian potassium fertilizer export restrictions.
According to the China Agricultural Materials Distribution Network, Russia and Belarus account for 40% of global exports of potassium fertilizer. Due to Russia's invasion of Ukraine, there has been a global shortage of potassium fertilizer supply, and overseas potassium fertilizer prices have risen across the board, and there is a possibility that potassium chloride prices will continue to be high in the future.”

  • たかつ丸 風車の見張り番 OP : It's a dreamy story that makes me feel at ease. Stock prices have declined further since 10/10, so I couldn't calm down. I was thinking that someday, it might return to 1.3-1.5, but since it's a mid-term recovery, I'm going to sit back and face it. It was very helpful. Please continue to teach me various things.
