Hamas accuses Prime Minister Netanyahu of blocking cease-fire agreement
Palestinian extremist organization Hamas issued a statement on Monday accusing Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu of deliberately evading concluding a cease-fire agreement.
According to the organization, Prime Minister Netanyahu has effectively blocked the cease-fire agreement by adding new conditions to the previous cease-fire proposal that received support from the United States. “It is clear from what intermediaries have conveyed that Prime Minister Netanyahu has returned to a strategy of procrastination,” the Hamas side stated.
Intermediated by Qatar and Egypt, discussions between Hamas and Israel continued in Rome, Italy.
