Hamas official survives Israeli drone attack in Lebanon.

Local media in Lebanon reported that Israeli drones conducted airstrikes targeting a Hamas official in Sidon, southern Lebanon, on Monday.

Although the identity of this official has not been disclosed, he survived with minor injuries from the assassination attempt. The vehicle he was in caught fire, but firefighters managed to extinguish it.

This incident marks the third recent assassination attempt by Israel targeting resistance-related individuals, following the killings of Hamas member Samer Al-Hajj and Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade leader Haril Al-Makdah.

Since October 8th, clashes between Hezbollah, Palestinian resistance forces, and Israel have escalated, with the region on edge due to Israeli attacks in Gaza.

Israel claims this attack as a response to Hamas cross-border operations in October. According to Gaza's health authorities, over 40,400 Palestinians (mostly women and children) have died, with nearly 94,000 injured.

Relentless shelling has turned much of Gaza into rubble, with a severe blockade further exacerbating the dire shortage of essential supplies.
