Bridgewater Associates founder Ray Dalio explained his reasons for investing in China on LinkedIn. He stated that he has been involved in the Chinese stocks market and his investments have been successful, demonstrating to investors that through wise and diversified portfolio allocation, profits can be made in both bull and bear markets. Dalio pointed out that according to his investment approach, there are no bad markets, only bad decisions, and the Chinese market is very suitable for this type of decision-making.
Regarding the current issues facing China, Dalio believes they are "manageable," as the Chinese leadership will eventually find ways to address the problems. He pointed out that there are signs that Chinese economic policymakers are preparing to implement quantitative easing and debt restructuring to achieve a "beautiful deleveraging." He believes that, like all countries in history, China can improve productivity through restructuring the financial system⋯⋯
