Harris and Trump's first TV debate kicks off
"This will be the most important moment in the 2024 presidential campaign in the United States." CNN previously described the first televised debate between Democratic presidential candidate Harris and Republican presidential candidate Trump on the evening of the 10th local time. Agence France-Presse said that this is likely to be the only face-to-face television debate between Harris and Trump before the election on November 5, and it may become one of the key factors affecting the outcome of the election.
According to poll data compiled by the US election information website "Real Transparent Politics", as of the 8th, Harris led Trump by an average of 0.5 percentage points in national polls, but in key "swing states" such as Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Michigan, Trump led by 1.4 percentage points. The two major camps have recently held intensive campaign activities in "swing states".
With less than two months to the election, this debate has received high attention from all parties.
