Harris leads Trump in new polls

Kamala Harris, the vice president of the United States of America and the Democratic Party's next candidate, is leading former President Donald Trump in a new poll announced by Reuters/Ipsos on Tuesday.

Among registered voters, Harris received 44% support and Trump received 42% support. In the three-pronged battle that included independent candidate Robert Kennedy Jr., Harris's lead was even greater, with 42% of respondents supporting Harris, 38% supporting Trump, and 8% choosing Kennedy Jr. Furthermore, 56% of poll participants evaluated the US vice president as “mentally sharp,” while 49% evaluated the Republican Party candidate as “sharp.”

Earlier this week, Trump led Harris by 2 points in the Quinnipiac University national opinion poll.
