Harris vs Trump
The first televised debate between Democratic presidential candidate and Vice President Harris and Republican presidential candidate and former President Trump took place in Philadelphia. The debate lasted about 90 minutes, with the two debating on issues such as the U.S. economy, immigration, abortion, the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, and the situation in Palestine and Israel.
On the issue of immigration, Harris advocated comprehensive immigration reform, and she accused Trump of blocking Congress from advancing relevant legislation; Trump tried to blame Biden and Harris for the U.S. "border crisis", and promised to implement "the largest deportation operation in U.S. history" after taking office.
Regarding the Capitol Hill riots on January 6, 2021, Harris said that Trump incited supporters to go to Capitol Hill that day, and Trump denied responsibility for the riots.
On the Palestinian-Israeli issue, Trump believes that Harris hates Israel; Harris said she will continue to support Israel and promote ceasefire negotiations.
According to a real-time poll commissioned by SSRS by CNN, 63% of viewers believe that Harris beat Trump in Tuesday's presidential candidate debate. 37% of viewers believe that Trump won.
