Vantage Point Asset Management, a hedge fund, expects former President Trump to win big in next week's US presidential election, and is increasing exposure to Japanese stocks and the dollar.
According to Nick Fereday, Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of Vantage based in Singapore, the preference for Japanese stocks and the dollar is based on the belief that if Trump, who supports tax cuts, wins the presidential election, it will promote global economic growth and keep inflation rates high.
