The selling has been generally taking place in most markets around the world for the past few trading days. It seems like an easy time to go short. Of course, you don't want to get trapped shorting the bottom.
So,how long will the selling last?
The last batch of economic data from China showed a slight expansion. If the data continues to show improvement, then maybe the Hang Seng can finally climb out of this multi-year slump in chinese equity markets.
Remember, the stock market will likely show improvement before the economic data. So keep that in mind.
Many corporations have forecasted a rough last quarter in the markets. This could possibly be just the start.
Nobody knows for sure how long the selling will last. Whatever the case may be, here are the major support levels I am watching for a potential rebound in price action. I mentioned these price points in a previous post. You can see them in the chart below.
If I see a valid catalyst show up in the headlines around these price points and the market reacting near these support/resistance levels at the same time, then I would place my swing trade accordingly.
I should mention that currently, the price is just below the 18250 level. If the price keeps falling, then 17550 is the next area of possible support.
As always, this is not investment advice. Good luck trading. Be careful and be patient. Dont anticipate the market. Rather, participate in the market. Give your investments time. Don't be greedy. Don't invest in anything you don't understand. Don't put all of your eggs in one basket. Don't listen to the hype. Don't fomo or panic into or out of trades. Do your own due diligence. And just follow the trends. A trend is your friend.

I wouldn't say that. I don't follow the chinese economy as much as I should but I like China as an investment. The market just needs to get out of this long-term slump.

SpyderCall OP 102923091 : I wouldn't say that. I don't follow the chinese economy as much as I should but I like China as an investment. The market just needs to get out of this long-term slump.
