Here's Intel's biggest loser

On the popular Wallstreetbets forum, a college junior in the U.S. inherited $800,000 from his grandmother's estate and invested $700,000 in Intel stock just before their earnings report last Thursday, buying over 20,000 shares at an average price of $30.45 each.

He listed 11 reasons for this investment and planned to hold for ten years.

However, Intel's earnings drastically underperformed the next day, causing the stock to drop 26% to under $20 per share.

Some mocked his "precise" timing, while others advised him to cut losses and shift to an S&P 500 ETF.

Despite losing $200,000 in a few days, he plans to continue holding the stock.
